Alexander Bradley is the star witness in the double murder trial of Aaron Hernandez.
Bradley says he was in the car with Hernandez when he shot two people because they bumped into him at the club.
After paranoia set in, Hernandez allegedly shot Bradley in the face and left him for dead. Here is the text though that might put all of that in doubt.
Hernandez’s lawyer Jose Baez ended his cross-examination of Bradley by introducing a message he had sent in 2013 that suggested he was not certain who shot him in the face, and pointing out that Bradley made sure to delete it from his phone.
‘Now you sure once I withdraw this lawsuit I wont be held on perjury after I tell the truth about me not recalling anything about who shot me,’ Bradley asked Robert Pickering.
Bradley stressed that he was not ‘perjuring’ himself in the exchange, and when repeatedly asked why he deleted the text, declared: ‘For the fourth time, I don’t recall what calls or messages I have or have not deleted.’
Is this big enough to get Hernandez off? We shall see.
