TMZ Sports caught up with Fox’s number one play by play man Joe Buck in Beverly Hills, and asked him about Colin Kaepernick’s decision to end his national anthem protest. Buck says Kap deserves credit for standing up for a cause that “probably” needed discussing and for putting his money where his mouth is. Buck says he can’t criticize Kap because he grew up differently. Also, he doesn’t think there is any link to Kap ending his protest and needing another quarterback job.
Joe Buck has said many things over the course of his career that we at BSO disagree with. Think back to his Randy Moss fake mooning comments. But his comments on Kap are measured and delivered without animus.
