I think Tyrese’s intentions were genuinely positive. The message essentially being that women shouldn’t feel obligated to wear fake cosmetics to feel and look beautiful and that the natural look is the wave. Some have pointed out Tyrese dating women with the same look he is speaking out against, others feel he is singling out black women in particular.
