A Wisconsin man says he forced off a Delta Air Lines flight after he used the bathroom while the plane was delayed on the tarmac.
According to reports, Kima Hamilton made a quick run to the men’s room during a lengthy delay on the tarmac before takeoff. Upon returning to his seat, shortly after according to witnesses, the flight crew acted to remove him from the plane. In passenger videos obtained by ABC, Hamilton is shown with two different Delta crew members explaining why he had to use the rest room and requesting more information on why he was being removed from the plane.
“I need more information, sir,” Hamilton is heard saying in the video. “I haven’t done anything. I paid for this ticket, and … I have to be home.”
“I tried to hold it the first time, and you said I absolutely couldn’t, and I’m being kicked off the plane?” he says. The employee responds, “I need to talk to you outside.”
Fellow passenger Krista Rosolino, who recorded one of the two video, described the incident in an open letter published to a blog saying Hamilton quickly went to the bathroom and returned to his seat.
