Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. addressed the media after Monday’s training camp practice. OBJ talked about the team’s goals this season, where he wants to be personally, the one handed catches, and music.
OBJ is a star and knows it. He is very gregarious and enjoys having fun. I observed him closely today, and he takes his craft very seriously, but knows how to have fun while doing it. In his media session, I found it interesting that he continued to reference being in a different place mentally. He used words like growth and development. He has a good grasp on who he is and isn’t afraid to let loose and show all sides.
At the end of the media scrum, I took the focus completely off football and asked him about music. As fans know he’s close with Drake, so he definitely has the “6 God” in heavy rotation. OBJ said he “loves music and it feeds his soul.”
