Oakland Tech High School, the alma mater of Raiders star Marshawn Lynch, is facing a possible suspension for allowing Lynch to suit up in pads and mow down the players.
Lynch posted a video of himself participating in a practice with the players from Oakland Tech while surviving a one game suspension from the NFL the problem is he is an adult and they are children, no matter what size they are.
The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) explained to TMZ the rules regarding high school practices.
“Only 9th through 12th grade students may practice with or compete on a high school team.”
Penalties have yet to be issued by CIF but the organization overseeing high school football in California issued a statement.
“[Marshawn’s] participation in the practice did not comply with Oakland Athletic League’s rules and regulations. Site administration did not receive prior notice that Lynch would be attending an after school practice.”
