Listen, Ayesha probably knows Steph better than anyone else in the world, so I believe her when she says that Steph was looking for someone in the crowd.
But, it is hard to believe that Steph didn’t see the kid staring right at him saying that he loves him and holding a jersey. His focus was just on something else at the time, but now the kid is all depressed and hurt.

No athlete is obligated to sign anything and obviously Steph does a lot of kids, probably more than most, this is just a bad optics and I sure in retrospect Steph wishes he would have acknowledged the kid.
