Well…we can’t say we didn’t see this coming.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has been added to the list of owners and executives that will be deposed and asked to submit all phone records and emails pertaining to Colin Kaepernick’s collusion case against the league.
NFL owners that will be deposed include Jerry Jones, Robert Kraft, Bob McNair, Paul Allen, and Jed York. They were selected based on their public statements regarding player protests and Kaepernick.
Other NFL executives included in the deposition include Troy Vincent, executive VP of football operations, Arthur McAfee, senior vice president of player engagement.
The filing, which Kaepernick filed “only after pursuing every possible avenue with all NFL teams and their executives,” alleges that the NFL and its owners “have colluded to deprive Mr. Kaepernick of employment rights in retaliation for Mr. Kaepernick’s leadership and advocacy for equality and social justice and his bringing awareness to peculiar institutions still undermining racial equality in the United States.”
