The Cleveland Browns hit rock bottom in 2017 as they became the second NFL team in 10 years to finish a regular season 0-16. The Detroit Lions finished 0-16 in 2008. Cleveland is now 1-31 in the last two seasons. There may be a glimmer of hope coming their way though.
According to Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com, Redskins QB Kirk Cousins is seriously considering joining the Browns in free agency. This news was reported during an appearance on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland today.

Kirk Cousins is heading for a third straight free agency. Washington has been able to keep him on franchise tags but Head Coach Jay Gruden wants him to stay long-term. Last month, Gruden also went on to say that the team would be prepared in the case that they lose Cousins. Cousins would earn $34.5 million if placed under a franchise tag. Cousins finished the 2017 season with 4,094 yards, 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
