TMZ Sports has learned that Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has pled not guilty to 9 criminal charges, including reckless speeding, harming a public servant, fleeing and eluding. The arrest took place on January 19th in Broward County, Florida and the arresting officers assert that Anderson was out of control.
The original arrest report states that Anderson cussed out the cops and went so far as to threaten one, saying he would find his wife, fuck her and nut in her eye. If found guilty he could be facing serious jail time. Harming a public servant carries a maximum 15-year sentence.
Anderson’s lawyers appeared in court on his behalf an entered the not guilty plea. This is a serious situation for the Jets receiver. His lawyers are probably working towards some kind of deal before this case gets to a jury.
