Sergeant Geraldine Lovely of Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas is being investigated for a racist video addressing black women that are also stationed with her, according to local officials.
Officials at Nellis Air Force Base have removed Lovely from her supervisory role once the video surfaced. In the video, Lovely complained about black women having an attitude and not respecting her. The situation was probably the other way around but Lovely took this opportunity as fast as she could to display her bigotry.
“They’re talking down to me. I’m trying to tread lightly as a higher-ranking to not blow the f–k up and start a fight club,” said Lovely in a video which was obtained by the Las Vegas Sun. “Everytime I f–king talk to them, it’s like I’m just some stupid a— girl that doesn’t even deserve to be talked to as a person.”
The Las Vegas Air Force base said that the investigation will determine if her comments are at “the tip of a broader issue at the military facility.”
“While the actions of this individual are inappropriate and unacceptable, we are using this unfortunate situation to continue a dialogue with our Airmen about the topic of good order and discipline,” said officials in a released statement.
I doubt that this situation deals with discipline but more about racists being stationed who are bigoted towards their fellow servicewomen. Flip the page to see Lovely’s racist rant.
