You have to feel for Markelle Fultz.
Mired in the midst of an injury-plagued rookie season, his ailing shoulder remains an issue in a rookie season in which he’s played 4 games.
It also doesn’t help that Jayson Tatum, the man flipped with picks for the right to select Fultz number 1 overall, continues to dazzle for the Boston Celtics.
Sixers Coach Brett Brown sounded less than enthusiastic on the status of his rookie Guard.
Brown on Fultz's shoulder:
"I don't know if we could say it's 100%, the doctors could say that better than me, but it certainly is getting better."Reporter: Does it need to be 100% for him to play?
Brown: "I think what he needs to be is able to shoot a basketball."

Coming into the NBA, Fultz’s jump shot was one of his strengths as a prospect. Brown also expressed concern over how his new motion has progressed courtesy of NBC Sports.
“How would I assess where his shot is currently at? It’s not where it used to be,” said Brown. “It’s not where it used to be. His free-throw I think is, but some of the longer shots and the rise-ups are not, and that’s just part of him getting through this progressive adjustment, trying to figure out the injury going forward.”
Hopefully, Fultz can regain his form and help Philly down the stretch as they bid for a playoff spot.
