Brett Brown On Why He Felt That The Sixers Didn’t Deserve To Beat The Heat in Game 4

Yesterday, the Sixers were able to take a commanding 3-1 series lead with win over the Heat in Miami as it went down to the wire. Ben Simmons was sensational as he posted a triple-double with 17 points, 10 assists and 13 rebounds. Philadelphia Head Coach Brett Brown was not satisfied with how his team won the game though.

Per Josh Friedman of 790 The Ticket in Miami, Brown said “I’m shocked we won this game. We didn’t deserve to win this game.” Despite the criticism, Brown still praised the efforts of Simmons and Joel Embiid and said that they have the potential to be great. The Sixers and Heat both went back and forth in Game 4 with all of Philly’s starters scoring in double figures but it seemed as though Brown wanted another blowout. Philadelphia had already won by 20+ points twice in this series.

The focus for the Sixers now is to close the series in Philadelphia in two days. Despite many critics pointing out the Sixers’ lack of experience in the playoffs, it’s hard to tell as they have been sensational vs Miami.
