Colin Kaepernick’s former teammate Eric Reid could not finish a deal with the Bengals in free agency due to him not giving a committment to stop kneeling during the national anthem to protest against racism and police brutality. Kaepernick is now facing the same situation with the Seahawks.
According to ESPN’s Adam Shefter, the Seahawks postponed a visit with Kaepernick when he declined not to stop kneeling during the anthem.
After arranging for Colin Kaepernick to work out for the Seahawks this week, Seattle postponed the trip when the quarterback declined to stop kneeling during the national anthem next season, league sources tell ESPN.

Kaepernick is better than many starting QBs in the NFL and is definitely better than any backup. He should not be punished for using his platform to address the racism and police brutality that is happening to black people in America. He took the 49ers to two straight NFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl appearance.
This horrible move by the Seahawks should help Kaepernick’s collusion case as it is further proof that the league is blackballing him and not signing him for football reasons.
