Jalen Rose is known for his unique and unfiltered take on sports, especially in the NBA, where he spent 13 years and knows the game better than most analyst and journalist.
Recently Rose was explaining how when a team is losing, the team isn’t having fun and used the Brooklyn Nets as the perfect example. The Nets last season finished 28-54. Rose said on the show Get Up:
“I promise you, the Nets. OK. They play right here in Brooklyn. Those players are not exchanging texts with each other this offseason.”
He would add on that they’re not having fun, but when TMZ Sports caught up with small forward Allen Crabbe, he wasn’t too appreciative of the comments by Rose.
“I don’t know where he got that from, I feel like our team’s pretty cool. We all hang out together.”
Even guard Jeremy Lin chimed in.
“Hmm, Jalen much respect to you but no idea where this came from lol. I just had the whole team over for a fat bbq last week.”
Rose can’t always be right and the Nets let him know despite their abysmal season they’re still exchanging texts with each other and hang out. Flip the page for the videos.
