A Houston teenager is safe after he says he was kidnapped but managed to escape from a group of teens and at least one adult that told him they were going to kill him.
ABC 13 Houston reports that Zavion Parker was found running with torn clothes and without shoes on Monday afternoon. Parker told police that he was approached by five teenage boys after he exited a school bus to return home.
The 6th grade victim told authorities that shortly after he got off the school bus, five teenage boys approached him on Greenwich and Rhobell Street, and forced him into a 4-door vehicle decorated with flames on the side.
Parker told authorities that the teenage boys, accompanied by one adult male driver, took him to a vacant house or cabin and assaulted him.
The suspects reportedly took his jacket, shoes, phone, and keys.
Lee says she received threatening messages from her sons’ phone saying they were going to “kill him.”
According to the police report, Parker was able to escape when his alleged assailants went into another room to load a gun they were planning on killing him with. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.
