Today, the NBA announced that the Toronto Raptor’s Dwane Casey was named the NBA Coach of the Year.
The Raptors finished in first place in the East, after winning a franchise record 59 games.
However, after getting swept by the heavy-underdog Cavs, Casey’s coaching job is literally in jeopardy for next season.
LeBron James will do that to you.
On the other hand, the Celtics lost both their super stars in Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, and somehow Head Coach Brad Stevens has Boston on the verge of beating the young and very talent Philadelphia 76ers later tonight.
Surprisingly, Isaiah Thomas was not here for the disrespect for his ex-coach up in Boston. While Isiah might feel some type of way about the Celtics’ organization as a whole, he clearly still has some love left for Coach Stevens.
Flip the pages to see what IT had to say to all of the NBA Coaches that didn’t vote for Brad Stevens for Head Coach of the Year.
