When the 2018 NFL season kicks-off, Kurt Warner will be a ripe 47-years old. For context, if he were to return, he’d be two years the senior of Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri.
Despite nearly a decade away from the game, the Hall of Fame quarterback says he had his eyes geared towards returning and had the blessing of his wife. “I actually talked to a coach” said Warner. “My wife said go for it, I think it would be great”
A two-time NFL MVP, Warner recently was in consideration for the lead analyst position on ESPN’s coverage of Monday Night Football. Even while understanding the nature of ex-players to get the “itch” to return, this would border on an unprecedented level.
Warner further outlined how serious he was about a return. Flip the page for the video.
