Fox News continues their support of President Donald Trump after releasing photos of Eagles players praying and saying that they were kneeling.
How we know they were praying is because of Eagles tight end Zach Ertz. Ertz took to Twitter to respond to Fox News according to Bleacher Report.
“This can’t be serious…. Praying before games with my teammates, well before the anthem, is being used for your propaganda?! Just sad, I feel like you guys should have to be better than this…”
This should come as no surprise and after Ertz’s tweet, Fox News responded.
“During our report about President Trump canceling the Philadelphia Eagles trip to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win, we showed unrelated footage of players kneeling in prayer. To clarify, no members of the team knelt in protest during the national anthem throughout regular or postseason last year. We apologize for the error.”
At this point, we all need prayer. By the way, the Eagles now the second championship-winning major professional sports franchise to not visit the White House after the 2016-17 NBA champion Golden State Warriors who canceled or in Trump’s case uninvited.
