Kendrick Lamar decided to get the crowd going by bringing up a fan and letting her rap along to his song M.A.A.D. City off his album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City at an Alabama music festival last month per Fox News.
The fan starts rapping along and before you know it, she drops N*igga with no hesitation, clearly, this isn’t her first rodeo. Kendrick is probably puzzled at this point, but the fact is she keeps going and says it again. Kendrick has had enough at this point, and the young lady is puzzled. She asked Kendrick if she is not cool enough.
According to Vanity Fair Kendrick requested that fans (white people), let him have just one word.
“Let me put it to you in its simplest form, “I’ve been on this earth for 30 years, and there have been so many things a Caucasian person said I couldn’t do. Get good credit. Buy a house in an urban city. So many things—’you can’t do that’—whether it’s from afar or close up. So if I say this is my word … please let me have that word.”
Watching the video can be cringe-worthy as the woman tries to not use N*gga but she just throws off the whole song at that point. Flip the page for the video.
