A surprise new album by Eminem was released yesterday named Kamikaze. An incredible album that is full of lyrical gems and a few shots were thrown at current rappers in the game by the 45-year-old rapper. The track getting the most social media traction due to a gay slur Em used when referring to rapper Tyler The Creator in his song “Fall.”
Near the end of the track Em raps, “I inspired the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles, the K-Dots, the 5’9″s.” This one surreal moment for rapper Hopsin that has been inspired by Eminem since he picked up a pen.
Hopsin, born Marcus Jamal Hopson, is a Los Angeles native and the owner of two record labels. He has released five studio albums including his most recent last year ‘No Shame.’ His fans have always talked about his similar flow to the Kamikaze rapper and Hopsin has said he is opened to collaborate with one of his idols.
When he realized his name was dropped in the controversial song, the rapper took Instagram to show his excitement. “Yo craziest shit just fucking happened, Eminem just said my fucking name on his gotdamn new album,” he starts the video. “YOU JUST INSPIRED ME TO MAKE A NEW FUCKING PROJECT! I’M BOUT TO HIT THE STUDIO RIGHT FUCKING NOW! This was the motivation I needed to stay on track! Thank you, EM!
