This is pretty racist and this is the person you have running your school district?
If he is saying this in public just imagine the things he is saying in private, but there is a plot twist.
The Onalaska ISD school board will discuss Superintendent Lynn Redden’s contract during a closed meeting Saturday after Redden said “you can’t trust a black quarterback” in a Facebook comment this week.
“Onalaska ISD regrets that an inappropriate comment has been attributed to the district’s superintendent,” according to a statement from the board. “The OISD does not condone negative comments or actions against any race. The district values every individual and therefore the district will take the appropriate measures to address the situation expeditiously and completely.”
He said he thought he was responding to a private message from a friend at the time. Instead, he posted the comment on a Facebook post promoting a Chron.com story about the Texans’ recent loss.
“The Facebook post by Onalaska Superintendent Lynn Redden is racist, abhorrent, repugnant, and grossly inconsistent with the values the Onalaska superintendent, or any superintendent, should be modeling for his students and community,” said Dayan Gross, ADL Southwest Regional Director.
Gross said he believes Redden only apologized for the fact that the post became public.
The fact he admits he meant what he said, but didn’t know that he was making a public comment is a fireable offense.
