There could be some trouble brewing in #MAGA paradise.
According to the Star Telegram, Jerry Jones says the Cowboys will be taking a field trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture (“NMAAHC”) following their game against Washington this weekend. The Cowboys plan on staying in extra day in the capital for the experience.
Dak Prescott is ironically on board with this field trip too—despite being very vocal and/or opinionated about his colleagues when they independently choose to protest Police brutality against African Americans by kneeling during the national anthem:
It’s huge, I’m excited for it…
I think it’s going to be a great trip. We are going to learn a lot and see some things. I think it’s going to be great for our team, great camaraderie.
Hopefully, Dak can learn a valuable lesson about “protesting” and it’s proximity to “convenience.”
The NMAAHC opened up back in 2016. It’s five acres and over 400,000 square feet of black culture and history. Currently, your president Donald Trump hasn’t commented on this Cowboys situation yet, but just be patient here folks. He lives for headlines like these.
