Odell Beckham Jr. is having a season he’d like to forget. Through six games the Giants are 1-5, not to mention OBJ secured the bag. OBJ agreed to a five-year extension worth up to $130 million to make him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history. The contract includes $89 million guaranteed for injury and $56 million fully guaranteed at signing.
By looking at their record he hasn’t been good and neither has his team, offensively or defensively. Cool OBJ you don’t like water, but the bigger problem may be off the field. At this point, OBJ hasn’t won anything and winning usually cures everything. If OBJ was a Super Bowl champ and was acting the same way nobody would care, but he hasn’t won a title. Sure he’s the flashiest and highest paid WR in the game but he’s not showing it. Eli Manning is struggling but the Giants refuse to protect him, what would you expect if your QB isn’t protected… All John Mara wants you to do is compete and ball out. No more tantrums because now you have younger guys acting the way you did, Sterling Shepard.
