A wise man once said: you don’t have to say everything that enters your mind.
Odell Beckham Jr. is an all-world talent the likes of Jerry Rice and Randy Moss. The problem is, he’s had tendency to be a headache at inopportune times during his tenure with Big Blue. When the Giants inked Beckham Jr. to a 6-year deal worth up to $90 million, it’s safe to say they didn’t expect controversial comments in an interview with Lil Wayne.
In the sit down with Josina Anderson, Beckham Jr. calls out the Giants for having a lack of heart and questions Eli Manning’s ability to deliver the ball. According to Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer, the Giants have fined the pro bowl wide receiver.
Just reported on Thursday Night Football on @NFLonFOX that the Giants fined Odell Beckham Jr for his comments last week.

The comments from Beckham Jr. reportedly left Giants Head Coach Pat Shurmur “furious” and “absolutely livid”. Given the fact the Giants are in the midst of a season saving battle against the Eagles Thursday night, the timing of the report couldn’t have been worse.
Several metrics will show Eli Manning has lacked production this season, showing a tendency to check down instead of looking down field. Regardless, a different approach should have been taken by Beckham to voice his displeasure.
