The indictment is in on Tekashi69 and it appears the cops have been targeting him and his crew for several years. They are being accused of running an organization similar to the mafia.
Tekashi69 is a rapping gangbanger who dealt drugs and ordered shootings of rivals to maintain the status of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, federal prosecutors alleged in a sweeping indictment Monday.
The feds said Tekashi, 22, was joined in the gang conspiracy by his ex-manager, Kifano (Shotti) Jordan, Jensel (Ish) Butler, Faheem (Crippy) Walter and Fuguan (Fu Banga)) Lovick.
The five were arrested as part of a joint investigation by the NYPD, Homeland Security Investigations and ATF, a spokesman for the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
The 17-indictment alleges that from 2013 to this month the crew committed an array of crimes to maintain the gang’s “power, territory and profits.” Members of Nine Trey sold heroin, fentanyl, MDMA and weed in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx, prosecutors charge.
The indictment lists several alleged instances of violence involving Tekashi and his fellow accused gang members.
On April 3, Tekashi, Jordan, Butler and Walter robbed rivals at gunpoint at 40th St. and 8th Ave., the indictment charges. On April 21, Lovick fired one shot inside the Barclays Center, according to the indictment.
Manhattan prosecutors have said the incident during a boxing match at the arena stemmed from Tekashi’s beef with the rapper Cassanova. On July 16, Tekashi, Jordan, Butler and Walter conspired to kill “an individual who had shown disrespect to Nine Trey,” according to the indictment. The plan didn’t work and an innocent bystander was shot at Fulton St. and Utica Ave., authorities said.
The Feds rarely lose a case and it might be the reason 69 tried to disassociate himself from his long time friends and partners before the indictment came down.
The only way he is getting out of this with a light sentence is if he snitches and that is what the DA is sort of suggesting he does.
