Lil Pump is under a lil bit of pressure after he teased the release for his new track, Butterfly Doors. In the hook Lil Pump raps:
Smokin’ on dope.
Butterfly doors, they call me Yao Ming cause my eyes real low.
[Ching, Chong]
To make matters even worse, Lil Pump then pulls down on the side of his face in order to slant his eyes after he spits the verse. Truthfully speaking, if you were listening to Lil Pump, and also counting on him to be socially conscious at the same time, it honestly seems like you just started listening to Pump today. Plus, this is an overused metaphor in rap, in general. Pump wasn’t the first rapper to do it, and sadly, he probably won’t be the last either.
Furthermore, Pump is a Floridaman, so this behavior is basically par for the course of what you’d expect off of a rapper who blew up by repeating Gucci Gang over and over again.
