The Detroit Lions are wrapping up another season without making the playoffs. Matthew Stafford hasn’t been at his best this year and the defense hasn’t been up to par. Surely this isn’t what Matt Patricia visioned occurring during his first year as head man for the Detroit Lions. According to an ex-Lion, this poor season has also had Patricia being late for team meetings.
The ex-Lion remains anonymous, but according to him, Matt Patricia was “consistently late [to team meetings] during his time with the Lions”

Patricia addressed his tardiness today during his weekly press conference which he was also late for.
“I think it just depends on the situation really,” Patricia said. “It depends. There’s a pretty busy schedule from those situations I think for everybody. I think fluidity is probably the best answer for you.”-via freep.com
I mean it isn’t a good look when you’re a head coach and you’re late to team meetings during the year. One can’t help to realize the weight of Patricia’s job and how much is on his plate, but you can’t be late at all. Here’s to Patricia being on time and turning the Lions around next season.
