Prior to the Chiefs’ big win over the Colts in the AFC Divisional round last week, Guard Jeff Allen had some trouble getting to Arrowhead Stadium because his car was stuck in the snow. A homeless man named Dave Cochran helped out and after finally finding him through social media, Allen got Cochran three tickets to the AFC Championship Game.
Cochran currently lives in his Chevy Suburban. He will go to the Chiefs game this weekend with his sister and girlfriend. This is his first ever Chiefs game as well.
Update: Despite the recent influx in people changing their name to Dave in the KC area lol, I was actually able to track down the Dave that helped me thanks to the power of social media and #ChiefsKindgom. Thanks for your kindness https://t.co/e4OkEg6AAw

KC fans plan to take an initiative and help out Cochran. A GoFundMe page has been started with a goal to raise $10,000 for him. So far, Over $6,700 has been made. The Eagle Animal Hospital is also offering his dog free checkups.
As far as the Chiefs, they said they aren’t doing anything further to help Cochran. It’s sad to hear but props go to Allen for impacting his life in a positive way.
