A couple of days before the “Surviving R Kelly” documentary came out, Kelly teased a new album and debuted a new single on Twitter and Soundcloud.
It is a very interesting dynamic that is happening.
On Soundcloud, the song “Born to My Music” has close to 70k listens and almost all the recent comments are very favorable to the song and Kelly.
On Twitter, it is the exact opposite as almost all the recent comments are negative.
I think it illustrates that no matter what is shown about R Kelly they will always be fans and support his music. I do believe there are a good amount of people now that they have watched the documentary won’t have anything to do with him anymore and there are also people who say they are canceling him, but still support his music privately.
