A new era will be ushered in Miami, with a new coach and most likely a new QB to add on to it.
According to Miami Herlad’s Armando Salguero, the Dolphins have made up their minds.
The Dolphins aren’t planning on letting Ryan Tannehill remain as the starter in 2019, either, by the way. After seven years with the club, the people who run the organization, including owner Stephen Ross, are agreed they are moving on from Tannehill. -via Miami Herald
Ryan Tannehill hasn’t been the QB the Dolphins thought they were going to get when he was drafted 8th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft. He’s battled injuries for the most part and he also just hasn’t been very good. Tannehill hasn’t played in a single playoff game while carrying a Dolphins burden of an initial $96M extension.
Now the Dolphins would like to trade him for some pocket change, but in all likelihood, Tannehill is going to bet put on the open market.
Either way, the Dolphins will be left with the obvious answer of them drafting a QB in the upcoming NFL Draft. Kyler Murray, Drew Lock, and Dwayne Haskins should be in the conversation for that pick.
Let’s see how the Dolphins play this one out.
