The Titans made a move 2 days before deals can become official.
Adam Humphries, arguably the best slot receiver on the market, inked a reported 4 year $36M deal with the two tone blue today. This deal will set the market for slot WRs and could be an indicator of how much specifically Cowboys free agent WR Cole Beasley commands on the free market.
WR Adam Humphries' contract with the Titans expected to be $36 million over four years, sources tell me and @TomPelissero.

This signing makes plenty of sense for the Titans’ side of things. The offense was handicapped by a lack of playmaking from the WRs and desperately needed dependability in the slot. Tajae Sharpe was just not cutting it with his performance and the Titans knew it and addressed it.
The Titans now look to add an EDGE rusher in free agency. One that can thrive opposite upcoming second year player Harold Landry. They don’t have to worry too much though, there are plenty of them out there, but will the price tag be too high? We’ll see.
