The greatest tight end the NFL has ever seen has announced he’s walking away from the game.
After redefining a position while shattering defenses and record books for nine seasons, Rob Gronkowski is retiring from the NFL. He will undoubtedly be a first ballot Hall of Famer in five years, and if you have the time, we can be argue if Brady to Gronk was the most profilic/deadly duo the NFL has ever seen.
The GOATs at their respective positions, Brady’s connection to Gronk wreaked havoc on the league. In 4 combined Super Bowl appearances the duo produced to the tune of 31 receptions, 297 yards and 3 scores. Gronk’s last career catch embodied his dominating career and helped ice Super Bowl XLIII versus the Rams.
