This story is very confusing.
As always with sexual assault, you want to believe the accusers while giving the accused the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, because no charges will be filed we might never know the truth.
Here is the first part of the story.
Florida blue-chip quarterback Jalon Jones was accused of sexual battery by two different women in two separate incidents half an hour apart last month, according to police reports obtained Thursday by the Tampa Bay Times.
Both women declined to pursue charges through the University of Florida Police Department, and at least one case was referred to UF’s student conduct and conflict resolution.
The first incident began consensually around 2 a.m. on April 6, a female UF student told police. But when two Gators freshman defensive backs, Chris Steele and Jaydon Hill entered the room and began laughing, the woman she told Jones to stop, according to the police report.
She told authorities she pushed Jones off her, got dressed and entered Steele’s room.
30 minutes later another incident allegedly happened in the same apartment.
