Today, Chiefs Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill was cleared of any child abuse charges after audio leaked of him threatening his wife after they discussed him breaking his three-year-old’s son’s arm. He’s still suspended indefinitely by Kansas City from all team activities but this could change soon after the charges were done being investigated, as reported by KCTV 5.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, there’s every reason to believe that Hill will be back with the team for training camp this month. This is barring any further developments. He is not expected to be reporting to mini camp though.
Child Protective Services are still investigation Hill and his fiancee’ despite the DA’s case being closed. Hill beating the case comes as a shocker to many but the Johnson County Attorney said there wasn’t enough evidence to charge him.
