The NFL season is approaching, which means training camp will start for teams. While training camp is a first look at new players and serves as conditioning tool for others. Sometimes players use training camp to heal from nagging injuries, this seems to be the case for New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman.
It’s been reported by ESPN Adam Schaffer that Julian has suffered a minor thumb injury and will be sidelined for three weeks. Being that it’s before the season kicks off he won’t miss any regular season games. Julian was spotted with a brace over the thumb during his youth camp this past weekend
While the Patriots would love Julian to be on the field, this short time out can allow them to look at other WR options. Which includes 1st round draft pick N’keal Harry, Braxton Berrios,Phillip Dorsett, Dontrelle Inman and Damian Harris who they signed this off-season.
