Newest Los Angeles Laker Anthony Davis has only officially been with the team a little more than a week. In that time he’s had a press conference gotten a new number and found a place to live.
Davis is renting a beautiful $14.1 million dollar mansion in Bel Air. The property is 6 bedrooms 6 bathrooms and a gigantic 12,000- square feet. Davis who waved his 4 million dollar trade kicker is currently in the 4th year of a 5 year $127 million contract so renting the house for $50k per month easily fits in his budget.
Should Laker fans be worried Davis decided to rent? While the thought is Davis will sign long term with the Lakers next summer he has remained not committal since arriving in L.A thus the reason to rent and not buy.
The house is about a 35 minute drive without traffic to the staples center and 15 minutes from teammate Lebron James house in Brentwood. It’s safe to say taco Tuesday may have a new location in the coming weeks.
