Ex-NFL OL Ryan O’Callaghan On How Many Gay Players are in the NFL and Why They Are So Afraid to Come Out (Video)

Former NFL player Ryan O’Callaghan believes that every organization under the NFL shield houses a homosexual football player. After coming out in 2017 the former Chiefs and New England Patriots tackle claims to receive calls from closeted NFL athletes on a regular basis.

Ryan O’Callaghan also shared the main culprits behind players refraining from living an openly gay lifestyle while playing football seems to be fears of family backlash, loss of endorsements and job security.

‘I can promise you there’s plenty of closeted NFL players,’ said O’Callaghan, who played for the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2006 to 2011.
