President Trumps rhetoric continues to inspire hate and violence. This time it was between a grown man and a kid.
At a recent rodeo in Montana, a 39 year old man named Curt Brockway, grabbed a 13 year old kid by the throat and threw him to the ground and fractured his skull because he didn’t remove his hat during the national anthem. The kid ended up in the hospital.
According to CBS News, Brockway’s attorney is saying Brockway thought he was acting on an order from President Trump.
“The president’s “rhetoric” contributed to Curt Brockway’s disposition when he grabbed the boy by the throat and slammed him to the ground, fracturing his skull, at the Mineral County fairgrounds Saturday”
“His commander in chief is telling people that if they kneel, they should be fired, or if they burn a flag, they should be punished, He certainly didn’t understand it was a crime.”
Brockway told officers that he told the kid to remove his hat and he didn’t. That is no excuse to pick up a kid by the throat and throw him to the ground putting him in the hospital. Brockway needs to be in prison and people need to realize how racist the president has been and how much harm he has caused.
