Melvin Gordon has a big decision to make.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Chargers gm Tom Telesco informed Melvin Gordon that any contract talks will be suspended until after the season.
Unless he is traded and his new team gives him a deal, Gordon will have to decide if he wants to play this season for $5.6 million or sit out.
Neither side has seemed close to caving to the other so it might be another Le’Veon Bell and Steelers situation.
Chargers reps have given Gordon’s reps permission to seek a trade. However, not many teams need a RB. A couple of the teams that do, are the Bills who just cut Lesean McCoy and the Buccaneers whose RB core could be stronger.
