Back in April of 2018, former NBA role player, Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis, was involved in a fight at Factory Nightclub in West Hollywood, CA where he was accused of beating up a man. The victim ended up getting his face fractured by Davis and had a broken tooth. The incident reportedly started after the man almost got hit by Davis’ car. The man ran up on Davis about it and that’s where he got slammed WWE style on the road.
According to TMZ Sports, Davis plead no contest to the felony battery charge but won’t be facing any jail time. The original charge was felony assault with intent to cause great bodily injury. Seven years in prison was also on the table but the deal in court with prosecutors surprisingly got him off the hook.
Conditions of this plea though include 320 hours of community service that has to be completed by the end of 2020 and $104,000 in restitution to the man he assaulted. When Davis gets these done, he will then have a formal sentence where a judge will decide if he gets any probation. From that point, his battery charge will get reduced to a misdemeanor.
Davis spent time in the NBA from 2007-2015 where he was known most for his stint with the Celtics from 2007-2011. He won a championship with them in his first season. Last year, he also faced drug charges by running a distribution ring in Maryland. Flip the page for Complex news video regarding the case.
