Former US Women’s National Team goalkeeper and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist is having twins.
Solo announced that she was expecting twins on beIN Sports USA during their “Weekend Winners” segment. She announced that she was expecting a boy and a girl.
Solo’s husband is former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens who caught a touchdown pass in Super Bowl XL. Stevens was also the subject of Steelers linebacker Joey Porter’s ire when he called Stevens “almost a first-round bust who barely made some plays this year.”
Solo and Stevens have been married since 2012, getting married the day after Stevens was arrested for allegedly assaulting Solo before charges were quickly dropped due to lack of evidence.
