Back in July of 2015, the late Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, tragically lost her life due a drug overdose. Her boyfriend at the time, Nick Gordon, was suspected of being involved in her death. In court, he was sued by her family and was found responsible due to him not showing up. Gordon had to pay her estate $36 million.
Now, it appears that Gordon has passed away due to an overdose as well, according to PEOPLE. Today, his brother, Jack Walker Jr, broke the news to the outlet. Gordon was also reportedly in the hospital days before his death. Walker was next to him by his bedside before he passed as well. Gordon was very young at the time as he was only 30. The Daily Mail originally reported that Gordon suffered multiple heart attacks on New Year’s Day. He was taken to Intensive Care Unit at Altamonte Springs Hospital where he eventually passed.
“We are devastated by the loss of my beautiful brother,” Walker Jr. said to PEOPLE in a statement. “He leaves a void in the hearts of my family and his friends. Nick’s battle in life was not an easy one. I will be forever grateful that my God afforded a small moment at the very end of Nick’s life, and I was able to hold his hand as he journeyed on.”
Gordon has been staying very low key since Bobbi Kristina’s death as he moved to Florida this year. Flip the page for Walker’s Facebook post discussing Gordon’s death and Gordon speaking Bobbi Kristina.
