Trey Songz is arguably one of the best R&B artists of all-time. His most recent projects though were his “11” and “28” mixtapes in November of 2018. He also had a buzz for himself this year as he sparked Megan Thee stallion dating rumors as he’s been seen drinking and partying with her plenty of times. Trey is now dealing with some serious legal issues though which dates back to a nightclub in Miami on new year’s day of 2018.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, a Georgia woman who listed herself in a lawsuit as Jane Doe is suing Trey for $10 million due to accusations of sexual battery at E11EVEN Miami. The lawsuit also includes claims of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress. This is after the two met at Diddy’s house for new year’s eve.
When you’re an artist as big as Trey Songz, you need to be extra careful when you’re at clubs. Watch who you interact with along with physical greetings and affection. If he really did commit this sexual assault, he needs to be held accountable. It’ll be interesting to see how this gets resolved in court.
