Joe Flacco was waived by the Denver Broncos last month, and is still looking for a new home.
With Andy Dalton officially off the market, the pickings are slim for teams looking for a veteran quarterback with starting experience. With a 2-6 record over 8 starts and a paltry 6:5 touchdown to interception ratio, Flacco’s performance diminished in his lone season in the Mile High City.
The 12-year vet has reportedly received calls from multiple teams since being released by the Broncos. Last season Flacco dealt with a neck injury which limited his availability and his recovery from that might complicate things for him in free agency.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Flacco has gotten calls from “numerous teams,” in a backup role but remains unsigned due to health concerns.
