More white people need to understand this.
Just because you aren’t racist, doesn’t mean you can’t damage the cause. Drew Brees and his wife have done good things for the black community and they aren’t racists, so they thought that was enough.
When it came to the HARD issues in the black community though, they stayed silent and in the case of Brees he actively hurt the community in his comments about kneeling during the anthem.
It is good they both know now that if you truly care you have to do more or at least don’t do things to damage us.
