It’s been a bad time for racist coaches lately. They can’t seem to keep their racism hidden anymore.
St. Johns fencing assistant Boris Vaksman is the latest racist coach to be fired after comments he made earlier this month.
Vaksman said that it was a mistake that Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves while he was on a Zoom call with Yahoo.com
The school’s AD issued a statement saying
“As soon as the recording was brought to our attention the matter was immediately investigated and the individual no longer works at the university,” St. John’s Athletic Director Michael Cragg wrote in a statement. “The racist comments expressed are completely unacceptable and a rejection of everything for which the university stands.”
According to TotalProSports, Vaksman has also been suspended from the Fencers Club in New York and USA Fencing is considering actions.
I for one am extremely happy to see all these racist coaches being called out and fired.
