A lot of people who are career robbers don’t know when to stop and that’s how they get caught. If they just stopped when they were ahead they’d be living free and sometimes comfortably.
Florida man Casey William Kelley didn’t know when to stop. Kelley printed out a fake check worth $139,203.05 so he could buy a brand new Porsche 911. The dealership reported the car stolen when they finally realized the check was fake.
As mentioned before, Kelley didn’t know when to stop. The very next day he printed another fake check worth almost $62k so he could buy 3 Rolex watches. The jewelry store was smarter than the dealership and waited to see if the check cleared before giving Kelley the merchandise.
The jeweler figured out the check was fake and the bank informed him that they received a few other fraudulent notes from Kelley. Luckily he had already been taken into custody.
According to Daily Mail Kelley was booked and charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and fraud. He was being held on a $10,000 and will appear in court in September.
