People once were critical of Michael Jordan’s ability to help people in need when he was off the NBA court after 2003.
When Jordan gave Gordan Hayward a four-year $120 million deal, everyone lost their mind criticizing the greatest NBA player of all-time.
According to Feeding America, Jordan donated $2 million to food shelters in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In these challenging times and in a year of unimaginable difficulty due to COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to pause and give thanks. I am proud to be donating additional proceeds from “The Last Dance” to Feeding America and its member food banks in the Carolinas in Chicago to help feed America’s hungry,” Jordan said in a statement.
Who can criticize a move such as this when people are affected in a positive way?
