Earlier on Tuesday Kamala Harris was sworn in as the first Black, South Asian, and first woman VP in the history of the United States. It was truly a historic moment and a moment that girls and women of all ages and races will remember forever.
Former NFL safety Ryan Clark shared what the moment was like for his daughter but also shared why we still have so far to go by showing a pic from his daughter’s school of how they celebrated MLK Day.
Two cheerleaders from Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge uploaded a pic of themselves with a MLK Day banner on Snapchat and captioned it n*gger day.
Twitter found out the two girls were Brooke Houndashelt and Bella Harrington who are both juniors and co-captains of the cheerleading team. The school has also seen the post and commented but they didn’t say what they did about it.
Hopefully they aren’t allowed to go to the school since it is a Christian school and that doesn’t follow their values at all.
